We have a tooth! (Dec. 12th)

On Friday, December 12th, Genevieve got her first tooth! I noticed while we were sitting on a grassy hill, watching the holiday lazer light show. Anything and everything within her reach was trying to make its way into her mouth for some chewing action and I figured that my hand was probably the cleanest item around. So, I volunteered my fingers as her chew toy and felt the first tooth. We still haven’t been able to actually see it, but we can feel it. I can’t say that she has been doing any obvious teething, but she is in a fussy stage where mommy is usually the only one able to comfort her. I guess we’ll have to wait for future teeth to pop up to report on whether or not she’s a fussy teether or if her current state really is just the “mommy” stage.

Oh and we all had fun at the lazer light show. We met Nicole, Jeremy, the kids, and Jeremy's mom, Jill, for the event. Then it was on to a restaurant for Mexican food. Man, we eat Mexican food a lot apparently!
