After we took the family picture we descended upon one of the new restaurants in The Domain, North, for Jim's birthday dinner. The shopping center offered a nice walking area, a big outdoor fireplace, and lots of fountains and fun things to climb on the way to dinner and then again after dinner. Happy birthday Jim!
December is also the month we celebrate Ann's birthday. For this, James, Renae and I got to go with just the adults downtown for a nice celebratory dinner. Uncle Karl was in town and it was a nice little group. It would have been nice to walk around downtown after dinner because everything was lit up for the holidays, but it was SO cold that night and both Renae and I were wearing dresses, so we opted to run and jump in the car instead. I know those of you reading from Michigan are probably laughing, but it was really cold! Happy Birthday Ann!
