Every year we all get together to go pick out a big tree for Ann and Jim's house. Everybody gets to run around and pick out their favorites and by process of elimination, one special tree is selected. The kids always get a kick out of the machine that shakes all the loose needles from the trees and sometimes Grampie even tries his hand at standing on the machine and trying not to get shaken off. Then we all get back in our vehicles to go get Mexican food together. Who knew Mexican food would be a crucial part of some of our holiday traditions, but it is, and we all love it.
For some reason I don't have a picture of the tree finalist, but you will see it decorated in all it's glory in future posts.
