March 1st marked Genevieve's 10-month birthday! She is so fun to be around! She's making all kinds of crazy faces and really showing off her two teeth. She has a smile that she does where all of the muscles in her face are so tight you think her head is just going to explode, a pirate face (aargh), a face where she scrunches her nose and top lip and breathes in and out really quickly and loudly when she's excited about something... Her bag of tricks now includes clapping, waving, lots of talking/babbling and I think she's very close to starting to use her sign language for the basics like "more, please", "drink, please" and "all done". Tristan is having fun as we try to teach her the signs too. "More please, baby" is what he says when he's standing in front of her highchair doing the motion, showing her the ropes. They are interacting more and more and it's so cute. She's definitely a baby on the go and she's supplying me with more of a workout chasing her everyday. She's curious about everything and wants to be included in anything that anyone else is doing. I'm lovin' the ten-months-old age!
