Horseshoe Bay

We spent a few days in Horseshoe Bay with the Downings and Francos over Spring Break. The weather was perfect and we got to stay in an awesome condo with an amazing view of the lake from the balcony. The resort was really nice and we took full advantage of the beach and pool areas. Tristan has been pretending to build sand castles for a while because they do that in one of his books, and now we actually got to make our own castle. Of course, Tristan thought it was much more fun to destroy it after it was built...he's such a boy! Genevieve tried to eat a bunch of sand and enjoyed riding in her floaty in the pool. James and I got to go to a really nice dinner sans children - thanks family!

Genevieve also figured out that she could turn on the water in the tub all by herself. Everytime we went into our bedroom, she would make a beeline for the bathroom to go play with the faucet. She got her top front teeth, the left one on Thursday 3/12 and the right one (if you are looking at her) on Friday 3/13. Thankfully she was pretty much in a good mood the whole time despite teething.

While out there we got to drive over a couple places where the water (purposely) runs over the road and Tristan has been talking about driving through the water ever since. I hope he doesn't try this when he's a teen!

I'm not sure why I don't have more pictures of everyone, but they were there, I promise!
