Slumber party

Ashley and Andrew spent the night with us on Valentine's Day so their parents could have date night and actually sleep in on a Saturday morning. Everyone made and decorated cupcakes together. Daddy even gave Genevieve her first bit of chocolate. After the initial stunned look on her face over this new taste, she wanted more. That's my girl!

The next evening was our turn for a date night. Since our children are much younger, Genevieve was returned home to us at 10 pm. Tristan is such a big boy now that he got to spend the whole night having fun with his cousins! James and I enjoyed a sushi dinner at home, compliments of Renae and Central Market. Then we got to watch a movie all the way through, with no interruptions - what a concept.
