A new friend and more music

This week we got to meet our new friend Mya Elizondo. We didn’t get any pictures, but I assure you, she’s a cutie. Mya is the first grandchild for the Currans, who are family friends of the (Texas) LaBrecque’s. Tristan attended Heather and Joe’s wedding when he was a week old and now Genevieve and Mya were born within a month of each other. This was pretty exciting! We also met friends at NXNW to listen to Daddy’s band and had lots of fun. Felina and David brought little Laurel along for her first live music experience and our good friend Karen helped with the kids. Karen has become a “Nana” to Tristan and Genevieve and we spend quite a bit of time with her and “Papa Lee.” Tristan and Karen were having fun playing peek-a-boo with a napkin after dinner and I really love the resulting picture. As usual at this point in her life, Genevieve slept right through all of the excitement. Good thing she's a super cute sleeper!
