First boat ride

This weekend was a big weekend with Uncle Joel's birthday on Friday, cousin Maddy's birthday on Saturday and Father's Day on Sunday. Uncle Joel's birthday celebration on Friday marked Genevieve's first boat ride! Danielle rented a party boat for Joel's surprise party. While there, Genevieve enjoyed being held and passed around. She was pretty oblivious to the famous flying of the bats from under the Congress bridge and the fact that it was a bit too windy for the candles on the special Chicago Cubs cake to stay lit, but had fun nonetheless. I also took this opportunity to snap a picture of Andrew with his two trouble-maker uncles. I’m sure we will be paid back exponentially in the future for all of the things that James has “taught” Andrew, at his parents’ dismay.
