A birthday party!

Saturday we celebrated cousin Madelyn’s first birthday. Maddy greeted us at the door and was checking Genevieve and the carseat out. Uncle Chris was a jungle gym for the kids at times and a horsey at other times. It turns out that the tissue paper that the gifts are wrapped in is sometimes more interesting and fun to eat than the actual toy. By the end, everyone was definitely tired and Tristan insisted on wearing his party hat for the ride home. About 30 seconds after this picture was taken in the car, he was asleep!
