We went on a photo shoot of sorts to commemorate Tristan turning 3 years old. The idea was to come up with a really good shot to include on his party invitations. He's so cute though, we had a tough time deciding on just one picture. So, I've decided to share some of the contenders and other pictures that bring a smile to my face. The hat he's wearing has special significance. My Dad liked to wear hats a lot and could totally pull this off because he looked great in them. My Dad also had a hat that looked exactly like this one. Shortly after Tristan was born, we went as a family for a walk around the mall, mostly to get out of the house and get some moderate exercise. James and I saw this little thing and HAD to have it. It has taken Tristan three years to grow into it and we're so excited that it finally fits. He looks like a natural child model, even in these amateur shots. Renae was also helping by suggesting some of the GQ poses; hands in pockets, hands adjusting cufflinks, etc. I also like the ones where he stopped listening to us and just started acting like the 3 year old boy that he is; picking up little stones, jumping off curbs, playing hide and seek and of course I had to include a couple of the ending shots as he had had enough... Love them all! Love my little baby boy!
