Getting two kids to look at a camera and smile at the same time is tough enough, so I really didn't even try to get the perfect shot of eight plus kids of different ages.

Easter egg hunt with friends
We met a few other Austin area moms and their tots for a special Easter egg hunt playgroup. We went to a park at the Mueller development (the site of the old Mueller airport for the out-of-towners). The playground here is awesome and totally fenced which is super nice! We got some wiggles out on the playground, while a few of the moms tossed hid the eggs. The kids had a large lawn area, bordered by a sidewalk, overlooking a small man-made lake, to run wild and find as many eggs as they wanted. The weather was perfect and it was fun to watch the kids run all around. Genevieve spent her time strapped to my back and I got to run around after Tristan. She didn't seem to mind not being able to hunt her own eggs and we gave her a couple of her own to play with later.
