Easter Sunday, part II

We went home for naptime and then we were off to New Braunfels for more celebrating! Devan and Garrett have a trampoline that the little kids really got a kick out of. Adam and Tyree also had monster bubble makers that were big hits! Tyree did a great job of having special age-appropriate buckets for each child with all kinds of goodies in them. The bug kits really came in handy when the big kids led us on a bug hunt. We had nets, magnifying glasses and special containers to put our findings in. I think the most exciting catch of the day was a roly poly or two. They don't move very fast and the little ones were able to capture them.

After all of the activity, we had a huge Easter dinner. Both Devan and Garrett have April birthdays so we surprised them with birthday cakes and of course, we sang to both of them. By that time, it was late and time to head back to Austin. All in all, Easter 2009 was great!

Tristan gets his first taste of cracking cascarones, or confetti eggs, on Daddy and Mommy's heads! Well, this was the first time that he might actually remember it anyway.

Aww, Mommy gets some Tootie love!

Uncle Jeremy and Genevieve! It's been a while since his baby was this little!
