Genevieve is 4 months old (as of September 1st)! To celebrate, she got a new toy, an exersaucer. With her increasing neck strength, she does very well in it. She's getting so big! She's now 25 inches long and weighs 13 pounds 8 ounces, which translates to tall with average weight. Her 4 month shots gave her a fever for a day and made her fussy for a couple additional days but I think she's recovered nicely. She's reaching out and grabbing things now and is more aware of her surroundings. Another milestone (of sorts) is that I can now put pigtails in her hair! We're undecided about whether or not she should have bangs, but we'll have to make that decision soon since her hair already gets in her eyes. Regardless of the bang issue, since we can make pigtails now, I need to find two matching baby bows for extreme cuteness... Most babies don't have that much hair so you typically only get one bow per color/style, so finding a 2-pack could be a bit troublesome. Genevieve is also a master drooler, so she requires a little bib during most of the day.
Our first shoes are still a bit big, but they look great with our outfit! Thanks, Diane!
Mmm. Spit up.
Well, trying to eat it is almost like playing with it, right?

I LOVE the pig tails! She looks so cute and grown up. Can't believe how fast she's growing up.
Awww...look at that gorgeous girl. I LOVE the pigtails! And by the way, today I discovered that Target has the infant clippie bows in a 6 pack for $2.99. At that price you can buy 2 and have matching sets. They seem to stay in Riley's hair as well as the ones I bought from the baby boutiques.
